The Maker

Built on a Love of Wood

Drew Trano

I grew up in my father's shop, surrounded by the smell of fresh-cut wood, the hum of machines, and the patience it takes to do things right.

That early apprenticeship shaped how I work today. Every Studio 37 piece is built to be lived with — cabinets that quietly hold a kitchen together for thirty years, slabs flattened true so another maker can finish them, furniture meant to outlast the builder.

I work with both local Pacific Northwest species and imported exotic timbers, choosing the right material for the piece, never the other way around.

“Built to outlast the builder — every joint, every finish.”

How I work

Pacific Northwest
