Located in the Pacific Northwest Studio 37, Custom Designs by Drew Trano was established from a passion for woodworking. Creating custom handmade gifts for friends and family using natural organic wood products. I use a variety of local and exotic timbers and various techniques to create high-quality custom products.

It all started at a young age. While growing up, my brother and I would watch and help my dad in his wood shop. As a hobby, he’d design and build craftsman furniture, and create custom pieces for home remodels. Over the years, we learned a lot from him—the ability to create something in our mind and bring it to life. Transforming a piece of high-quality scrap lumber into functional art that brings a smile to someone’s face and can be passed down from one generation to the next. That along with the smell of sawdust always feels like home to me.

As a husband and father, my family is my inspiration in everything I do. I hope to pass on my love of woodworking and design to my own boys one day.
